Workstair is designed for any kind of service companies  such as residential cleaning, HVAC, pest control, landscaping, painting and the list goes on. You can create Quote, Contract or Invoice in just a few clicks and manage your job schedules efficiently with Workstair.
Yes. You can create a Job from scratch. Any module in Workstair works independently also.
In most cases invoices are related to work. So it is very easy to convert a work to an invoice in Workstair so that chances of making mistakes while creating an invoice will be very less. You can set invoice reminders as well in Workstiar when you create a Job.
Schedule plans are simply blueprints of schedules. It carries out only the minimal information of a schedule whereas schedule contains all the information about the work. All schedule plans for the entire job duration will be created when a job is created. Each schedule plan will be converted to a schedule when you confirm a work visit.
Yes. You can create an invoice separately without a Job.
Yes. You can generate a Statement of Accounts from Workstair. You can add a statement description also when an invoice is created. Only sent invoices will appear on the Statement of Accounts.
Workstair workflow is to create a Quote, convert Quote to Contract, Create Job from Contract, Convert Schedule plans to Schedule, Generate invoice for each work and finally create payment receipt once customer is paid. Keep in mind that you create Quote, Contract or Job independently as well.
Yes. Workstair’s highly customizable reference numbering feature allows you to auto generate document reference numbers in any sequence.
Yes. You can add multiple categories in a single Quote and you can set up separate titles for each category as well.
Yes. Workstair’s tax master allows you to create different kinds of taxes and use it in estimates and invoices. 
In settings, go to module templates, there you can save multiple scope of work or terms and conditions. You can load any saved template in your document when you create it.
Yes. Workstair’s PDF configuring feature has a rich set of tools to format your PDF at any extent.
Workstair dashboard visualizes critical information of your organization such as expired contracts, overdue schedule plans, invoice reminders, quote follow up reminders, Jobs are needed to be invoiced, coming schedule plans, outstanding invoices and list goes on. 
Workstair’s user management system allows you to create multiple roles and assign a role to each user. In the user role, you can grant or deny permissions to any modules in Workstair.
Yes. You can add multiple job sites for a single client. Go to the left menu bar and select job sites under the clients tab and create a new job site and choose an existing customer.
Invoice reminder will remind you to create an invoice when the time is up to get payment from the customer. Invoice reminders are set on Jobs. You have to set when and what frequency the reminder should work.
Yes. You can simply drag and drop a schedule from date to another from the calendar. 
There is an option called update future plans available in more actions of a schedule. Using this option you can update dates of all upcoming plans in one go.
Yes. If the status of a Quote is “submitted” or above then you will be able to convert it to a Job. Create Job option is available in more actions of a Quote.
Yes. You can create a contract directly without a Quote.
There is an export button available at the right top corner of the Quotes list page. You can apply filters before export if you want only limited data.
When you do a payment receipt, all pending invoices for that customer will be listed over there and you can enter the allocated amount in each invoice.
Yes. You can upload your letterhead in Workstiar and it will be loaded as default in every document.
Yes. You can go to more actions of a schedule to create an invoice from the schedule. The service items and its prices will be transferred to invoices when you do it.
On the calendar view, A quick view will appear when you click on the invoice reminder to be converted. Click show detail, on the detail view, click more actions and click create invoice.
When you start to act on a work schedule, you can convert the schedule plan to a schedule. Once you convert/create a schedule, you can check and confirm your work visit with your customer. 
Jobs are the whole duration of work or the whole contract. Schedule is each work that you are going to do at the client’s job site. Schedule plans are simply plans that represent schedules that are not confirmed as work. 
No. Schedules are derived from Job.
In the Job summary page, in the schedules tab, there is a create button to add more schedules to an existing Job. In some cases, you may have to add more schedules than planned.
Tags are exactly what they sound like. You can create multiple tags and you assign one more tag to any entity in Workstair. This is simply a labeling in your convenience.
In the service line item, click the more options button on the most right side, then click the set frequency term button. It will add an additional input box for frequency term in the line item component.
When you create a Job, select on off as job type and in the schedule plan section, check convert first plan to schedule check box and save the Job. Then the first schedule plan will be automatically converted to a schedule.
You can create multiple zones in Workstair and you can assign each job site to a zone. You can search customers based on zones later on.
As the term indicates, closing a Job will close the Job permanently. All future plans will be deleted and all schedules which are not completed will be canceled when you close a Job whereas suspending a Job is halting a Job temporarily for some reason. No changes will happen on schedules or plans when you suspend a Job.
You can add a reference document details once a Job is created or after creating an invoice. You can add it on Based on document option in more actions of Job as well as Invoice.
When you create an Invoice, check the Paid Invoice check box then the invoice status will change to paid and a payment receipt will be auto generated against this invoice.
All you need to use Workstair is a PC with an internet connection and a web browser. Workstair is a web application and supports Google chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and Bravo and its highly responsive design enables you to use it in mobile phones.
